Used with hybrid fixator to fix the fracture. It crosses through bone, one side is tightened with a cannulated / slotted bolt & nut, other side is tensioned with wire tensioner & then cannulated / slotted bolt is tightened by nut .Hybrid external fixator is especially used for the treatment of fractures, deformities, pseudoarthroses of long tubular bones in metaphyseal (near joint) areas
